Advanced Training
General Aviation Group provides advanced flight training under a CASA approved Part 141 certificate. Our services include type rating training for the Citation 525 series, C525(SP) single pilot approvals, differences training, flight reviews and King Air B200 training courses. Training programs are tailored to the aircraft you operate and to your company procedures, while remaining fully aligned with current CASA requirements.
C525(SP) Type Rating Training
Our training for the C525 series delivers a complete pathway from systems knowledge to confident line operations. The course covers aircraft systems, performance, limitations, handling techniques, emergency procedures, and normal line operations in a structured syllabus that meets all CASA standards.
You receive dedicated instruction from experienced examiners and instructors who have flown the aircraft in corporate and charter environments. Scenario based training ensures that each lesson reflects real world operations, including high workload departures, non precision approaches, terrain procedures, and advanced automation management.
The program concludes with a flight test conducted by an authorised examiner. Successful completion results in the issue of a C525(SP) rating and prepares you for safe, efficient operations in day, night and instrument conditions.
B200 Training
Our King Air B200 program uses a full motion category D simulator to deliver high quality training that directly transfers to aircraft performance. The simulator provides realistic visuals, flight dynamics, and system behaviour, allowing you to train complex procedures in a controlled environment with no compromise to safety.
The course covers aircraft systems, performance, normal and abnormal procedures, advanced instrument flying, automation use, and decision making in demanding conditions. You will practise a wide range of scenarios including engine malfunctions, weather related challenges, terrain procedures, and high workload departures and arrivals.
Training is delivered by instructors and examiners with extensive experience on the King Air fleet in corporate, charter, and training roles. Each session is tailored to your operational needs and aligned with current CASA requirements.
The program can be completed as initial training, recurrent training, or as preparation for a flight review or proficiency check, giving you strong confidence and capability when returning to the aircraft.
